You’re welcome

This week one of my friends challenged me to create a healthy ‘Bounty’ Hot Chocolate. Long story short, poor girl was devastated after buying the actual Bounty Hot Chocolate mix in the supermarket only to discover it tasted nothing like Bounty… I mean, it’s also full of rubbish too so lets make something good for you girl!

I took on the challenge and created THIS Healthy ‘Bounty’ Hot Chocolate (which btw, tastes pretty good!)

Here is the recipe, let me know what you think!

Ingredients (Makes 1 Cup)
·      1x Teaspoon of Cacao Powder
·      1x Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
·      2x Teaspoons Melted Coconut Oil (my favourite is Vita Coco)
·      200ml Coconut Milk (Alpro is what I used for this, not a tin)
·      1x Square of Dark Chocolate (ideally 70% or more - Green & Blacks is perfect for this)
·      1x Teaspoon of Honey

Method
·      Place the Cacao Powder into your mug followed by vanilla extract and honey
·      Heat the Coconut Milk either in a pan or in the microwave until hot
·      Once heated to your liking, pour the milk into the mug and mix well
·      Add the coconut oil and mix well again
·      Finally, pop the square of dark chocolate into the mug and wait 30 seconds or so for it to melt
·      Once melted, stir it into the mix and you have your Healthy ‘Bounty’ Hot Chocolate
